Timothy J. (T.J.) Percell
Owner/Managing Attorney
Timothy Jermaine (T.J.) Percell is a loving husband, father, and son who has lived in many diverse areas that has shaped him to become the man he is today. Sports has always been one of his many influences. Living in many different areas and finding common ground with sports allowed T.J. to see and understand a world from many different perspectives. He also has been blessed with a family of strong Christian influence who showed and instilled the importance of love and service. These two factors made T.J. want to enter a profession that allows him to help people achieve their goals. In order to open up this pathway of helping people, the significance of education was always a focus. Therefore, T.J. graduated with a double Marketing and Finance major from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL and holds a Masters of the Arts in Teaching from the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY.
Prior to establishing Percell Legal Group, T.J. spent time as an associate attorney in the areas of family law and probate. He was also a media specialist at FSU Law. Before that, he spent the majority of his time teaching middle and high school math along with coaching baseball, spanning six different cities in two states.
T.J. earned his Juris Doctor with a designation in Business Law from the Florida State University College of Law in Tallahassee, FL. During his time at FSU Law, T.J. served as a Student Ambassador for the Admissions Department, mentor for the Summer for Undergraduates Program, teaching assistant, research assistant, circulation desk clerk, ABA Regional Negotiation Competition participant, Vice-President of the Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law club, and participant in the Tulane International Baseball Arbitration Competition. He has been admitted to practice law in Florida.
T.J. has authored two books. The first book, entitled I’m Not an Expert: I’m Just Good at What I Do, uses the 10+ years of teaching and tutoring experience T.J. has accumulated and outlined a plan of success for other teachers.
His second book, entitled Not Here to Book: A Non-Traditional Student’s Path to Realistic Law School Success, gives an overview of his unique experiences before, during, and after law school to give an accurate representation on what to expect. Both books include numerous testimonials from individuals whom T.J. has interacted with.
T.J. currently resides in Tallahassee, FL, with his beautiful wife, Cindy, and his guard dog, Courageous. He is also the proud father of two adult children, Nikki and Edward, as well as having a large family scattered throughout the country.
Martha Sue French
Associate Attorney
Martha Sue (Sue) grew up the youngest of six children on a farm in rural Hodgenville, KY. From a young age, her parents instilled a strong Christian foundation. They also led by example and instilled competencies such as integrity, inclusiveness, and compassion. She graduated with honors from LaRue County High School and earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Campbellsville University.
Prior to joining Percell Legal Group, Attorney French established and managed a successful law firm in Dacula, GA focusing on family law and probate. Prior to that, she spent 33 years in the P&C insurance industry with a Fortune 35 company. She held various leadership positions including three years at Corporate headquarters where she facilitated training for various segments. While in the insurance industry, she earned the CPCU®, AIC™, AIS™, and AINS® designations from The Institutes. She also earned the CLU® and ChFC® designations from the American College.
Sue earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, FL. She has been admitted to practice law in Georgia, Florida, and Kentucky. She is also admitted to appear before the Court of Appeals of the State of Georgia, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and the Supreme Court of the State of Georgia.
Sue is passionate about community involvement. She was presented with the Distinguished Alumni Award from the LaRue County Board of Education. She has also served on the Board of Directors of Girls, Inc., Treasurer of OFLG Homeowner Association, member of Wolfcreek Homeowner Association, tutored at-risk elementary students in Math and Reading, founded Nan's Words, LLC (a company dedicated to the work of her late mother), hosted a podcast "Memories of Margaret", created/taught basic financial classes, and volunteered with numerous organizations.
Personally, Sue lives in Dacula, GA with her husband, Jesse, and rescue cat, Pepper. She also has a total of five sons and twelve grandchildren living in Florida, Kentucky, New York, and Indiana.
